Business Analyst l
An Edmonton client is searching for Business Analyst l to join their team.
Business Analyst Highlights:
· Problem Analysis and Recommendations:
· Analyze problems and provide recommendations for improvements through business process or system changes.
· Conduct risk, impact, and data analysis before making recommendations.
· Support and Documentation:
· Support senior BAs in the development, documentation, maintenance, and distribution of business and systems initiatives.
· Business Requirement Development:
· Assist in the development of business requirements.
· Service Management:
· Serve as a consistent point of contact for service requests or business systems problems.
· Perform initial investigation or resolution and escalate issues when necessary.
· Technical Changes and Work Requests:
· Plan and implement technical changes and work requests.
· Data and Process Modeling:
· Create data and process models that document business and system functions.
· Business Acceptance Testing:
· Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of business acceptance testing.
· Business Intelligence and Reporting:
· Capture Business Intelligence to enhance business decision-making.
· Design and create operational reports for supervisory staff and management.
· Data Integrity:
· Ensure data integrity within core business systems.
· Knowledge Management:
· Maintain a working knowledge of current company policies, procedures, and business strategy.
· Qualifications:
· Possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to Information Systems, such as Business (MIS) or Computing Science.
· Have a high-level understanding of organizational change management.
· Previous knowledge of the company business and systems is an asset.
Business Analyst Hours & Wage:
· $56,220 - $66,100
· Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
