SAC Development & Reporting Conversion

    • Develop advanced custom reports and dashboards for core business areas including:
      • Forecast vs. Actuals
      • Inventory Counts

      • Fleet/Manpower Costs
      • Downtime and CAPEX
      • Site-level KPIs tied to production, cost control, and forecasting

    • Utilize the SAC Excel Add-in extensively to build custom reporting logic and automate data pulls across financial cycles.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Act as the liaison between the North American SAC Development team and the local finance group to bridge standard reporting with BU-specific needs.

    • Translate technical solutions into business-friendly outputs, especially for FP&A, operations, and executive teams.

    • Collaborate directly with the CFO, finance leads, and operations to prioritize reporting outputs, ensure compliance, and improve forecast cycles.

Training, Troubleshooting & Support

    • Serve as the SME for SAC and champion adoption of the tool across the finance team—initially dedicating 30–40% of time to training.

    • Troubleshoot report anomalies and imbalances, ensuring alignment across GRUs and resolving issues with performance or configuration.

    • Support ongoing validation processes, especially during month-end close cycles, with a focus on accuracy and turnaround time improvement.

Performance Metrics, Planning & Automation

    • Deliver high-impact automation to reduce manual work and accelerate analytics across P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and EBITDA tracking.

    • Identify and implement AI or machine learning innovations in reporting where applicable.

    • Monitor and report on critical metrics such as variance drivers, forecast adjustments, and sustainability KPIs, building recurring comparative outputs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical SAC or financial reporting role with advanced report-building and data modeling skills.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)—configuration, report design, Excel Add-in use, and dashboard automation.

  • Strong working knowledge of FP&A metrics, including mid-term planning, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical output, working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and IT.

  • Bonus points for background in manufacturing or industrial environments with exposure to plant or inventory management reporting.

  • Familiarity with data architecture, warehousing, or metadata/lineage tools considered an asset.

  • No designation required, but strong financial literacy or education in business, data science, or information systems is expected.

  • Working knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense is an asset but not a substitute for SAC proficiency.
