The Opportunity

We are seeking a Country Financial Analyst to provide management reporting, financial analysis, and decision support at the country level. This role works closely with the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and offers the opportunity to shape financial insights that directly influence strategy and operational outcomes. The position combines technical accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Country Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Support month-end close and reporting

    • Deliver monthly country-level financial reporting packages within 3–5 business days of close.

    • Ensure accuracy in all reconciliations and variance analyses across 20+ cost centers.

  • Provide financial modeling and forecasting

    • Develop and maintain quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for multiple segments.

    • Create 3–5 scenario models per year to guide leadership decision-making.

  • Improve processes and enhance automation

    • Lead 2–3 automation initiatives annually, reducing manual reporting time by 20–30%.

    • Standardize reporting across 5+ financial campaigns per year (forecast, budget, cost planning).

  • Validate and analyze performance

    • Prepare monthly KPI reporting with commentary on revenue, margin, and cost variances.

    • Conduct variance analysis at the account and cost center level and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance and reporting standards

    • Monitor compliance with US GAAP and internal controls across all reporting cycles.

    • Partner with system owners to ensure 100% account mapping accuracy within reporting systems.

  • Partner with the business

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, operations, and reporting systems to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing clear insights on cost drivers, revenue trends, and efficiency opportunities.

  • Champion safety and corporate values

    • Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in all work environments.

Ideal Candidate

You are a motivated financial professional who thrives in analytical, detail-oriented work and enjoys driving process improvements. You bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.

  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA) preferred.

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in financial planning, reporting, or analysis.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP; public company experience is an asset.

  • Proficiency with SAP (Tagetik/ECC/Analytics Cloud) and advanced MS Excel/Access.

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and QlikSense.

  • Strong skills in financial modeling, dashboard creation, and reporting automation.

  • Manufacturing or construction industry experience is an asset.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage competing priorities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $80K to $100K/year 

  • Bonus: Up to 20% bonus 

  • Vacation: 3 weeks to start (progressive increases with tenure)
