Accounts Payable Clerk
An Edmonton client is searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.
Accounts Payable Clerk Highlights:
· Efficiently process a high volume of invoices within established timelines.
· Reconcile accounts accurately, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
· Regularly follow up with vendors on a weekly basis to address any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
· Demonstrate adaptability to changes in processes, procedures, and software systems.
· Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve invoice discrepancies and address vendor inquiries.
· Handle high-volume work effectively while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
· Required Experience: 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
· Preferred Industry Experience: Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
· Education: High School Diploma or Accounting Diploma.
· Skills and Qualifications:
· Proficiency in accounts payable processes and procedures.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
· Excellent communication skills for effective vendor communication and issue resolution.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions.
· Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
· Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
· Willingness to adapt to changes in technology, processes, and industry standards.
Accounts Payable Clerk Hours & Wage
· 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM – Monday to Friday
· $20 - $22/hour
