Business Analyst lll
An Edmonton client is searching for Business Analyst lll to join their team.
Business Analyst lll Highlights:
· Solution Definition and Implementation:
· Represent the business in a leading role during the definition, planning, and implementation of solutions.
· Partner with Information Management, service providers, and key stakeholders.
· Requirements Gathering and Translation:
· Capture and translate business needs into requirements driving the development of innovative technology solutions.
· Evaluate the suitability of recommended solutions.
· Analysis and Recommendations:
· Conduct analysis, develop cost-weighted and risk-aware recommendations for business process improvement, process definition, or system changes.
· Business Intelligence and Metrics:
· Provide strategic and operational Business Intelligence for management.
· Ensure metrics adhere to the highest quality standards and support strategic business decisions.
· Deliverable Creation and Management:
· Author, review, approve, and facilitate the creation of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
· Includes proposals, business cases, use cases, project charters, conceptual designs, detailed designs, and test plans.
· Analysis Techniques:
· Perform requirements gathering, cost-benefit analysis, impact analysis, data trend analysis, and risk analysis and mitigation.
· Improve RFP responses, expedite design phases, and reduce rework.
· Project Team Leadership:
· Act as project team lead, applying systematic project management principles.
· Includes risk management and mitigation, scope and quality control, time/resource management, gap and impact analysis.
· Data and Process Modeling:
· Create data and process models documenting business and system functions.
· Business Acceptance Testing:
· Lead business acceptance testing and provide signoff on behalf of the company.
· Change Management and Stakeholder Assistance:
· Act as a subject matter expert and agent for organizational change management.
· Assist key stakeholders in adapting to changes.
· Knowledge Maintenance:
· Maintain knowledge of company’s policy, procedures, and business strategy.
· Perform analysis and make decisions based on company business rules.
Business Analyst Hours & Wage:
· $78,409 to 99,817 (includes Market Supplement)
· Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
