Business Analyst III
An Edmonton client is searching for a Business Analyst III to join their team.
Business Analyst III Highlights:
· Overview: As a Business Analyst III, you will play a pivotal role in representing the business during the definition, planning, and implementation of solutions. Working closely with Information Management, service providers, and key stakeholders, you will capture business needs and translate them into innovative technology solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in business analysis, strong project management abilities, and comprehensive knowledge of organizational change management.
· Responsibilities:
· Represent the business in a leading role during the definition, planning, and implementation of solutions, partnering with Information Management, service providers, and key stakeholders.
· Capture and translate business needs into business requirements that drive the development of innovative technology solutions, evaluating the suitability of recommended solutions.
· Conduct analysis and develop cost-weighted and risk-aware recommendations for business process improvement, process definition, or system changes.
· Provide strategic and operational Business Intelligence for management, ensuring that metrics adhere to the highest quality standards and are used to make/support strategic business decisions.
· Author, review, approve, and facilitate the creation of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, such as proposals, business cases, use cases, project charters, conceptual designs, detailed designs, and test plans.
· Perform requirements gathering, cost-benefit analysis, impact analysis, data trend analysis, risk analysis, and mitigation, resulting in better RFP responses, quicker design phases, and reduced rework.
· Act as project team lead and apply systematic project management principles, including risk management and mitigation, scope and quality control, time/resource management, gap and impact analysis.
· Create data and process models that document business and system functions.
· Lead business acceptance testing and provide signoff on behalf of the Company.
· Act as a subject matter expert and agent for organizational change management, assisting key stakeholders.
· Maintain knowledge of the company’s policy, procedures, and business strategy, performing analysis and making decisions based on the company’s business rules.
· Requirements:
· A post-Secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to Information Systems, such as Business (MIS) or Computing Science, is preferred.
· Extensive knowledge of organizational change management.
· Comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s business and systems.
Business Analyst III Hours & Wage
· 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
· $90,000/Year
